Registration Information
Earlybird registration closes on Friday 9 March 2012.
All fees are in Australian dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of 10% GST. Pre-registration will close midday, Friday 27 April 2012 (AEST*).Registrations after this date must be made onsite at the Sydney Convention Centre.

Registration Fees

1. AWA Member rates apply to Individual Members or one employee of a Corporate Member.

2. Registrations for Full Time Students must be accompanied with a photocopy of a student card and a letter from the university/college declaring full time student status.
3. AWA YWP Member rates apply to Individual YWP Members only.
Registration Inclusions
Full Registrations
• Attendance at conference sessions and trade exhibition (Tuesday 8 May – Wednesday 10 May)
• Satchel including program, abstracts, USB containing full papers and list of participants
• Morning tea and lunch (Tuesday – Thursday)
• Afternoon tea (Tuesday and Wednesday)
• Closing drinks (Thursday)
• Welcome Reception (Monday 7 May) – Limited to the first 800 registrations
NOTE: “Onsite” Registration does not include Welcome Reception or Gala Dinner tickets
Day Registrations
Day registrants will be entitled to the following on the day(s) chosen:
• Attendance at conference sessions and trade exhibition
• Satchel including program, abstracts, USB containing full papers and list of participants
• Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea (Tuesday and Wednesday)
• Morning tea, lunch and closing drinks (Thursday)
N.B. If registering for more than one day, only one name badge, satchel and contents will be issued per delegate.
Method of Payment
Payment can be made by the following methods -
1. Automatic online payment via credit card -
• Visa and MasterCard are accepted;
• Diners Club is not accepted;
• Following payment, registrants will be forwarded a tax invoice showing that the account is paid in full.
2. Request a tax invoice for payment via credit card, electronic transfer, cheque or International Bank Draft -
• To request an invoice, you must forward an official purchase order including details of the registrant(s)
to registration@awa.asn.au. On receipt of the purchase order instructions as to how to register
online will be sent by return email.
• Tax invoices will be sent to registrants following completion of the online registration process. Payment
must be received within 14 days to confirm your registration.
Payment of tax invoices can be made by -
• Credit Card - complete the on the invoice and return to AWA;
• Electronic Transfer - following the details on the invoice. Note: remittance advices must be forwarded to
payments@awa.asn.au;
• Personal or Company cheque - accompanied by a copy of the invoice.
(Australian delegates only) Cheque made payable to Australian Water Association;
• International Bank Draft drawn on an Australian bank and branch - accompanied by a copy of the invoice
NOTE: Registrations will not be confirmed until payment is received. Unfortunately registrations will be
cancelled if payment is not received within 14 days.
Cancellation of Registration
Cancellations must be notified in writing to the Australian Water Association.
Cancellation charges are as follows:
Cancellations received prior to Friday 9 March 2012:
Full refund less a $150 administration charge.
Cancellations received between Friday 9 March 2012 and Friday 27 April 2012:
Full refund less a $450 administration charge.
Cancellations received after Friday 27 April 2012:
Refunds will not be issued, however, substitute delegates will be accepted without charge.
Registration Desk
The registration desk will be located on the Ground floor of Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre. You are encouraged to register on Monday afternoon to avoid queues on Tuesday morning. Registrations must be collected before attending the Welcome Reception, any session or technical tour.
Opening Hours:
Monday 7 May 1200 – 1900
Tuesday 8 May 0700 – 1730
Wednesday 9 May 0730 – 1730
Thursday 10 May 0800 – 1500
Staff will be onsite Friday 11 May, 2012 to assist delegates attending technical tours.
