Catering / Refreshments
Clearly designated catering areas are located within the exhibition hall for morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. All conference delegates and exhibitor staff are entitled to the catering provided in these areas. Delegates and exhibitor staff must wear their name badge and lanyard at all times to access catering, as they will be checked in at catering stations. Two retail cafés are available to purchase refreshments - located at the back of exhibition halls and in the main foyer.
Catering - Dietary Requirements
Common dietary requirements have been covered by menu selections.
Any delegate or exhibitor who notified a specific allergy upon registration should identify themselves to a venue staff member at any of the catering stations.
Cloakroom
Complimentary cloakroom and luggage storage facilities are available at the Information Desk in the Merivale foyer, serviced by BCEC staff. Please do not leave your valuables or belongings unattended. AWA and BCEC are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Conference Proceedings
All delegates will have access to the full papers via the Ozwater’26 Event Platform. Delegates must make sure they have their official Ozwater’26 name badge with them at all times and tap into each session.
Dress Code
Conference: Business attire or smart casual
Gala Dinner: After 5 or evening attire
Exhibition
Throughout the conference, delegates will have the opportunity to visit the Ozwater’26 trade exhibition. All delegate catering will be provided in this area. The exhibition is accessible via the Great Hall Concourse.
Exhibition opening hours are:
Tuesday 26 May: 8:00am-6:30pm (includes Happy Hour 5:30pm-6:30pm)
Wednesday 27 May: 8:00am-5:30pm
Thursday 28 May: 8:30am-2:00pm
First Aid
If you require first aid assistance, please make yourself known to venue security or a BCEC staff member who will contact a First Aid officer.
Internet – Wi-Fi
Complimentary visitors Wi-Fi is available for basic browsing, email and social media.

Name Badges and Tickets
It is essential that delegates, exhibitors and trade visitors always wear their Ozwater’26 name badges and lanyards. For security purposes, all delegates and participants will be required to wear their official Ozwater’26 name badges attached to the official lanyard for admission to conference sessions, trade exhibition, social functions and delegate catering.
Entry to the Gala Dinner is ticketed. If you are registered, your e-ticket will be sent via email and SMS on Wednesday evening.
Parents Rooms
BCEC has two Parents Rooms, featuring all you need to feed and change in privacy and comfort. These are located on Merivale St main foyer, just behind Merivale Café and one on the Grey St main foyer near the Information Desk. Change tables can be found in all unisex accessible toilets throughout the Centre.
Prayer Rooms
Prayer rooms are available on the Mezzanine Level (near M3 & M4 rooms)

Tuesday 26 May: 7:30am-5:30pm
Wednesday 27 May: 7:30am-5:30pm
Thursday 28 May: 8:00am-2:00pm
Speakers Preparation Room
All Ozwater’26 presenters are required to check in at the Speakers Preparation Room, located at M10. It is mandatory that each presenter reports there prior to their presentation. Operating hours are as follows:
Monday 25 May: 1:00pm-5:00pm
Tuesday 26 May: 7:30am-5:00pm
Wednesday 27 May: 7:30am-5:00pm
Thursday 28 May: 8:00am-1:30pm
Transport and Parking
BCEC has two entrances, the main entrance on the corner of Merivale and Glenelg Streets is best for Ozwater’26.
Walking: BCEC is a short stroll across from the Brisbane CBD connected by Victoria Bridge.
Taxi or Uber: Taxi ranks are located outside the main entrance to the centre on Merivale St. Taxi drop off is located at the Grey Street entrance.
Train: South Bank railway station and South Brisbane railway station are within walking distance.
Citycat & Ferries: Public transport ferries, CityCats operate everyday and stop at the South Bank River Terminal on the Clem Jones Promenade.
Driving: BCEC has undercover parking for up to 1,500 vehicles.

You can collect your name badge from the registration area on the first day of Ozwater.
Yes, tickets must be purchased separately at the time of registration. Tickets are $290 each and there is a maximum of 1 ticket per delegate registration.
