Exhibition Stage Program

Sequana-logo-cmyk

What a privilege it is to be among such great company in sponsoring what is undoubtedly the water industry’s biggest event of the year. Whilst we are a relatively young business, our experience and passion is deep with big ambitions to innovate, influence and drive a sustainable water sector. Our focus is on redefining the future of Australia’s major water infrastructure projects and we know that as a collective industry, we are stronger together and will affect meaningful, sustainable change and ensure the water security of Australia. We know that it is the people who make the water industry so special and unique, and we hope to see and connect with as many of you as possible over OzWater’24. As the proud sponsor of the Exhibition Stage, there is a stellar line-up of panel events and discussions. Check it out below.

We are also very excited to be presenting our own session, ‘A constant state of transformation’, shining a spotlight on the environment through the eyes (and lens) of renowned artists, Lingam K. and Leela Schauble, who will be joining us for a thought-provoking discussion on the topic ‘the future is shaped by those who can see it' facilitated by Museum of Australia Photography Director, Anouska Phizacklea. Sequana is a proud sponsor of the Museum of Australian Photography (MAPh), as art is a passion of our co-founders Mike Walsh and Frank Fisseler, and this year art has converged with something that we are dedicated to as a business and industry, the environment. The recent biennial international festival of photography, PHOTO 2024 presented Australian and international artists and exhibited works that highlight the ways humankind has contributed to the climate crisis, and similar to OzWater’s 2024 theme Accelerating Action, these images prompt us to take action towards environmental repair as the artists turn their critical lens on new technologies, our environment and the impact of climate change, to contemplate our possible futures.  Both Lingam K. and Leela Schauble were part of PHOTO 2024, and we are lucky to have their works on display, creating an eye-catching art exhibition around the Exhibition Stage.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the Australian Water Association, the team behind OzWater, and our colleagues across the water industry for coming together for what we know is going to be a brilliant few days of learning, connecting and forging new relationships.

Mike Walsh (Chair) and Frank Fisseler (CEO)
