Definitions
A technical presentation is a 20-minute presentation with 5 minutes Q&A within our technical program.
A poster presentation is a 10-minute brief technical presentation with no Q&A within our technical program. So that people can learn more about your project/topic, you do have a poster that gets presented in the conference foyer space as well.
A poster only is a poster that gets presented in the conference space, with no opportunity to speak in the technical program.
A workshop is a 90-minute interactive session within our technical program. The room will be set with round tables for group work.
A panel is a 90-minute session within our technical program. The room will be set with a head table for the panellists and theatre style chairs for delegates.
An exhibition stage tech talk is an informal presentation delivered on the show floor.
A Student Water Prize presentation is a 15-minute presentation with 5 minutes Q&A within our dedicated Student Water Prize Stream.

FAQs
Yes, all lead presenters and co-presenters are required to have a minimum of a day registration. Presenters are eligible for a discount, with the dedicated links available under resources.
Yes, please email jmacdonald@awa.asn.au and advise of the change.
All rooms will be equipped with:
- A lectern and microphones as required
- Projector screen (Widescreen – 16:9 aspect ratio) for delegates to see your slides
- Clicker to advance your slides
- Screen at lectern so you can see your slides
